Abe Hernandez brings over 20 years of playing, coaching and managing experience to the Alaska Football League. He played for Bartlett High School from 1986-88, and was named All-State at fullback his senior year. He played for Reedley College from 1990-92, where he was awarded two consecutive “Most Inspirational Player of the Year” awards and in 1992 was named to the Northern California Football Alliance All-Conference team at fullback. Hernandez was accepted to attend Fresno State University. Hernandez' coaching roots began in the (AFFA) Anchorage Flag Football Association, where he led his teams to three City Championships; 2000, 2004, and 2006. Hernandez is also the founder of the AK Air It Out, which served as developmental leagues for the Alaska Wild. Hernandez served 3 years as the assistant head coach and 1 year as the General Manager for the Alaska Wild, of the Indoor Football League and New Mexico Stars of the Lone Star Football League.
Bob Lee has been active in the sports community here in Anchorage for the past 19 years. He has coached youth football for 14 years with The Anchorage Boys and Girls Club, Pop Warner, as well as at the High School level for the Anchorage School district. Professionally Bob is the Training Director of one of Alaska’s premier Occupational Health and Safety Services companies. Overseeing three training centers and 30+ employees has given Bob the skills necessary to assume the position of Commissioner in the Alaska Football League. His passion for the sport, ability to communicate, and his background in management will allow him to be firm, yet fair in the execution of his duties.
Ailee graduated from Chugiak High School in 2007 and received her Bachelor's Degree in Justice from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2013. She was a football and competition cheerleader for 4 years at Chugiak High School and was a basketball cheerleader at UAA for 2 years. She currently plays football in the Far North Flag Football for the Lady Broncos and played for AK Air It Out leagues from 2007 to 2013. Ailee was a Ball Babe for the Alaska Football League in 2013 and 2014
Born and raised for the most part in small town in KS with literally my entire family, went to High School and some college in AZ on the Navajo Indian reservation. Cheerleader and volleyball though out high school. Some college in KS then moved to AK in 1997 were I finished college at UAA. Work for Anchorage Neighborhood Health in the lab, married, no kids. Love to travel and be with family n friends. Honestly don't know anything about football but I'm learning a little as I go. Like I do know that there is no yellow line on the field...that's only for TV lol.
Faith Alexander comes to us with a background in Medical Administration and Human Services as well as Marketing and Sales. Faith has been actively involved in community volunteerism throughout her lifetime and has worked with organizations such as Mission of Mercy, Project Homeless Connect, Salvation Army, Food Bank of Alaska, and others. Additionally, she has been serving as an elected official on the Abbott Loop Community Council Board of Directors since 2014. While serving on the board, Faith initiated the park improvement project for Whisper Faith Kovach Park and has been on the Park Planning Committee since 2015. She has worked closely with the Division of Parks and Recreation to ensure the park will see safety improvements, play equipment upgrades as well as the addition of the first fenced dog park in South Anchorage – Project breaks ground Spring 2018. Recreational activities she participates in include: Running, Longboarding, Snowboarding, Indoor and Sand Volleyball League, and Downhill Skiing.
Amanda is a true Alaskan, born and raised in the Anchorage area. Amanda went to Chugiak High School, participated in gymnastic and cross country running. Amanda is very passionate about living a healthy lifestyle. She is an Alaska State Taekwondo Champion from 2012 in 3 disciplines. Amanda is also a nationally qualified NPC Bikini Bodybuilding Competitor. Her short term goal is to reach the Masters National NPC Competition the summer of 2017. Amanda works as a licensed massage therapist and is owner of Avari Massage & Bodywork in Eagle River, Alaska.
This individual graduated from Bartlett High School in 1990 as a highly recruited athlete in 3 major sports - football, basketball and track. He continues to hold several records at the school and state level. In 1990 he was a Football State Champion and Alaska Defensive Player of the Year. He was also named as the Gatorade Player of the Year. From 1991-1993 he was a 2 Year Starter All State Cornerback at College of the Desert Junior College. From 1993-1996 he was a 2 Year starter at Cornerback for Oklahoma State University and named to the 1st Team All Big 8 Conference as a senior for the Cowboys. From 1996-2004 he played professionally in the Canadian and Arena Football Leagues, including being the first player signed to Alaska Wild. He had a 10 year coaching career for 2005 to 2015 at a variety of levels. In 2014 he played in the Alaska Football League for the Anchorage Cowboys and was named All-AFL at Defensive back. He is the founder of Quick Skillz Academy where his work ethic and personality complements the learning environment that he has established in his club, He adds another voice that inspires players to be the best that they can be.

Claire was born and raised in Anchorage. She is a Service High graduate and received her degree in Athletic Training from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. Claire has been working with Anchorage Fracture and Orthopedic since 2015 and this will be my fourth season with the AFL! Outside of work she enjoys getting outside and appreciating everything Alaska has to offer, mostly through hiking and downhill skiing.
